Woo – it’s been a while! I haven’t had my camera out much lately (in fact, I haven’t been out much lately) and I figured I wouldn’t bore you with repetitive snaps of coffee mugs and books just to get something up on the blog! October has come and gone and as we’re almost half way through November (how?), now is as good a time as any to give you a little update!
With the exception of this last weekend, we’ve had some great weather in Bristol. My sister and her husband came for a visit a few weeks ago, giving us the perfect opportunity to roam around by the river and pop into a pub for some afternoon bubbles and caffeine!
I’m kicking myself for not getting out more recently and I’m afraid that I might have missed the height of Fall gorgeousness while being stuck inside, but I’m holding out hope that November will bring just a few more sunny Saturdays where it’s warm enough to loaf about and discover new pockets of Bristol to explore!
I’m so embarrassed that I only made it about 1/4 of the way through our Halloween party! I think that I exhausted myself just making the costume (so. many. feathers. so. much. glue) but we were able to get at least a few photos of John Cena and his peacock date before I tapped out for the evening! This is the first time we’ve done Halloween in a few years and (I think?) everyone had a great time. Maybe next year I’ll make it to midnight?
The highlight of the last few weeks was a trip to London for a few Harry Potter-related activities! We did a Muggle Walking Tour and had a stay at a hotel in Victoria that boasts Harry Potter-themed chambers (seriously so cute)! We also snagged tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for next year, so it’s been a HP-filled few weeks!
With the holidays coming up I’m sure I’ll be much more exciting around here. For now I’m giving myself this look for letting the last few weeks come and go without flexing very many of my creative muscles:
