This is the last of Spain! (In case you’re sick of it!)
The day after the wedding, we woke up, broke our fasts, and took in the last of the house and company!
Ryan went for his signature “splash in the pool before we go” and I let my head get stuck in the clouds while sipping on coffee and munching on nibbles.
Then, unfortunately, it was time to set off. Ryan headed back to England and we carried on to brunch in Banyoles where my sister’s husband’s (!) father and step-mother graciously hosted a beautiful meal for us.
We viewed the slideshow from Wedding Part 1 and ate what felt like all the food in Spain. Honestly, the plates were never ending and there was a point that I really thought I was going to have to lay down to recover.
After brunch, we kissed the newlyweds goodbye and headed back to Barcelona to rest up for our flight the next day. I didn’t get to see much of the city, but Ryan’s already plotting a trip back from the sounds of it, so I’m really looking forward to that!
What I did see of Barcelona charmed me, though! This was the view from our AirBNB:
I’m counting the seconds until I can add to my Barcelona photo stockpile and roam these streets with Ryan.
