Hi, happy Tuesday, it’s freezing right now and meant to snow later and I’m miserable so why don’t we take a trip back to warmer times, yes?
Portugal sound good? Okay. Let’s go.
It’s no secret around here that Porto is one of my favorite cities in the world. It’s a quick flight away, easy to navigate, GORGEOUS, and that’s all before I even mention the wine. I first visited with my sister a few years ago and went back late last year with Ryan for a birthday trip.
The hotel that we wanted to book had no availability so we opted for an AirBnB and it was a fantastic decision. We decided immediately that we’d never stay anywhere else when we visit (so I hope our hosts liked us because we’ll definitely be back)!
Since I was coming off of a long three months in an accelerator for Ready to Blog we had only one objective for the trip: relax. Instead of trying to squeeze in wine tours – which I do highly recommend – we focused on cooking at home, strolling the streets, and grabbing beers down by the river.
In short: it was bliss. And warm. I’m not sure if I remember what it feels like to be warm!
Happy Tuesday, guys! I’m off to plot the next adventure. 🙂
